The objective was to
present ongoing work on ways to change from the current unsustainable
energy structures to sustainable ones in the EU, and to have
a discussion on opportunities and limitations for this. More
than 120 people registered for the event.

Low Carbon
Network Scenarios, a new network to bring together stakeholders
including NGOs and researchers working for major transitions to
low emission energy structures. The network start is in the spring
of 2009 under the project ”ENCI
Low Carbon network” with
support from the EU 7th Framework Program for Research & Technical
Development (FP7). It is organised by Climate Action Network France
(coordinator), INFORSE-Europe, Germanwatch, CNRS / CIRED (France),
and Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
