Description and Evaluation

Eco-Schools is an international programme for environmental education
for sustainability. Involving full pupil participation in the decision-making, planning and activities, it is an ideal way to implement Local Agenda 21 in the school community.

Its participatory approach and combination of learning and action make are a good mean to improve the environments of schools and their local communities, and influence the lives of young people, school staff, families, local authorities, NGOs, etc.

The schools zone of the website provides a large number of teaching material, information about successful projects, quiz and interactive games about sustainable energy and environment in general. It is very exhaustive and it's definitely worth visiting !!!
