Farms at the Seaside - Sines
Short description: In
1991 was built a wind farm facing the
sea in a seven hectare
situated
3 km
from
the sea
at
the town
of Sinesthe. The park consists
of 12 wind turbines,
distributed in three groups of four. Each turbine is 150 kW and the annual output
of the wind farm is around 2.5 million kWh, equal to the energy consumption
of the town of Sines (not counting
industrial consumption).
