BTN project promoted the efficient

of bioenergy and the promotion of spatial
planning processes for bioenergy. It
resulted in the development of bioenergy
strategies, training programs, network
of bioenergy centres and more efficient
fuel and heat production methods and
technology.

Danish
Island Energizes the Environment
Short
description: The Samsø Energy
Academy was built on the
Danish island Samsø. The aim was
to assist people in renewable energy,
energy
savings
and
innovative
technologies on the island aiming a 100%
renewable energy supply. Presently wind
energy supplies more than 100 % of the
electricity demand.
