Short description: the URBAN programme promotes highly skilled businesses in renewable energy and improve public awareness about new energy technologies. It created a business centre to specifically attract SMEs working in the renewable energy sector.

An Innovative Financial Device for Energy Infrastructure

Short description: Since 1991, Upper Austria have a policy called Energy Contracting Program that provides local authorities and companies with a different contractual relation with energy services workers or companies. After doing the installation of the equipment, the contractor has to manage the entire project and guarantee energy savings for long-term.
